VELO x McLaren Mastercard Formula 1® Team Fan Collectables Prize Draw - Terms and Conditions
These terms govern the VELO x McLaren Mastercard Formula 1® Team Prize Draw (the “Promotion”) (the “Terms”).
1. The Promoter of this Promotion is Nicoventures Retail (UK) Limited, Building 7, Chiswick Business Park, 566 Chiswick High Road, London, England, W4 5YG (“NRL”). By entering this Promotion, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms.
2. The Promotion is only open to entries from (i) residents of Great Britain; (ii) who are aged 18 and over; and, (iii) current nicotine users.
3. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in this Promotion:
(a) employees of NRL or of any British American Tobacco plc group company; or
(b) employees or any other persons involved or assisting with this Prize Draw or otherwise professionally connected with the Promotion or its administration (including but not limited to, any person responsible for redemption of prizes or for supplying prizes for the Promotion).
4. The Promotion opens at 16:00 on 12.06.2026 and closes at 23.59 on 30.09.2026 (the “Prize Draw Period”). There will be one (1) Prize Draw which will take place on 1st October 2026 and three (3) winners will be selected in accordance with the process described in paragraph 10.
5. To enter the Prize Draw, entrants must either:
i. Provide your name, telephone number, date of birth and email to the Velo Brand Ambassador next to the phonebooth at the Futures London between 15th June and 21st June 2026 and complete SMS verification; or;
ii. Provide your name, telephone number, date of birth and email to the Velo Brand Ambassador next to the phonebooth at the Velo x McLaren Mastercard Formula 1® Team VIP Experience at Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone between 3rd July and 5th July 2026 and complete SMS verification;
or
iii. Like, Follow Comment your favourite McLaren Mastercard Formula 1® Team Memory under the Velo Fan Collectibles post on the @velo.unitedkingdom Instagram page
The Prize Draw is limited to one (1) entry per person and no purchase is necessary. Multiple entries are not permitted.
6. NRL reserves the right to validate any claim and may ask for proof of identity and/or age at any point. NRL accepts no liability for any delays to or prevention of an entrant from participating in the Promotion by exercising its right to validate the identity and/or address and/or age of an entrant.
7. All entries must be made directly by the person entering a relevant Prize Draw. Entries made using methods such as a computer macro, a script or the use of automated devices or processes are not allowed and all such entries will be disqualified.
8. For the Prize Draw there will be three prizes (3)
(a)
i. the first drawn entry from all valid entries will win a pair of McLaren Technology Centre Tickets for either 16th October or 6th November 2026 subject to date availability (the “Prize 1a”).
ii. the first drawn entry from all valid entries may also be selected to receive a replica front wing from the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1® Team Car subject to an additional draw between the first drawn winner of this promotion and that of another first drawn winner from a competition hosted in another market (the “Prize 1b”).
(b) The second drawn entry from all valid entries will win a suspension shim signed by a McLaren Mastercard Formula 1® Team Driver from the 2022 McLaren Formula 1® Team Car and a pair of McLaren Technology Centre Tickets for either 16th October or 6th November 2026 subject to date availability (the “Prize 2”).
(c) The third drawn entry from all valid entries will win a floor spate edge signed by a McLaren Mastercard Formula 1® Team Driver from the 2022 McLaren Formula 1® Team Car and a pair of McLaren Technology Centre Tickets for either 16th October or 6th November 2026 subject to date availability (the “Prize 3”).
9. There is no cash alternative and the prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. NRL reserves the right to replace any or part of the Prizes with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond NRL's control makes it necessary to do so.
10. Entries for the Prize Draw must be received by no later than the end of the Prize Draw Period. Entries made outside of the Prize Draw Period will not be accepted. The winners for the Prize Draw will be the first three entries selected at random from all valid entrants received by 30h September 2026. The draw will be made from all valid entries at random via a computer programme producing a verifiably random draw.
11. The winners of the VELO x McLaren Mastercard Formula 1® Team Fan Collectables Prize Draws will be notified by the 2nd October 2026, via email from info.gb@velo.com. Entrants who have entered the Prize Draw and have not won a Prize will not be notified.
12. In order to redeem the Prize, the winners will need to respond to the email sent by NRL with an email confirming acceptance of the Prize, and provide their postal address. The winners will be allowed 72 hours from the time the email is sent to respond and provide the requested information. Please check your email carefully to ensure that you do not miss the email from info.gb@velo.com.
13. If the winner does not provide the required information to NRL within 72 hours of notification, then the winner shall forfeit their Prize and NRL shall be entitled to award the Prize to an alternative winner in accordance with the process described in paragraph 10 to 12 above.
14. NRL reserves the right to review, edit, alter or remove any entry in its sole discretion, which does not comply with these Terms or which it reasonably believes does not comply with these Terms.
15. NRL reserves the right to exclude any entries which it believes to be fraudulent or based on misconduct, or if, in its reasonable opinion, it considers that there is a significant risk that the entrant may bring the NRL or any other British American Tobacco plc group company brand into disrepute.
16. NRL reserves the right to amend, terminate or temporarily suspend each Prize Draw or the Promotion if, in its absolute discretion, it considers it necessary to do so. NRL shall not exercise this right unreasonably.
17. No responsibility will be accepted by NRL for incomplete, invalid or illegible entries and these will be declared void in the sole discretion of NRL.
18. The Promotion is not endorsed, sponsored, or associated with any of the brands or companies related to the Prizes.
19. NRL will not be liable for any internet or mobile connection or other charges incurred in entering the Prize Draw or in a winner enjoying the Prize. If using a computer or any other device and/or internet-access which is not owned or paid for by the entrant, the entrant is reminded to get the owner's permission before entering.
20. No responsibility will be accepted for any technical or other difficulties in entering or any entries delayed or corrupted.
21. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, or damage occurring as a result of taking up the Prize. Your statutory rights are not affected.
22. Personal data supplied during the course of this Promotion will only be processed for the purposes of implementing this Promotion (including the Prize Draw) as set out in NRL’s privacy policy, and all applicable laws in effect from time to time. Please also see paragraph 23 in relation to NRL's obligations with regards to the announcement of the winner.
23. Any enquiries about personal information held by NRL, including requests for deletion of personal data, may be made by contacting info.gb@velo.com. Please include “Data Protection Request” in the subject line of your email.
24. NRL must either make available information that indicates that a valid award under this Promotion took place and so NRL will send the surname and county of all of the winners of this Promotion to anyone who contacts NRL using the details in paragraph 21 requesting such information within one month of the date of the Prize Draw.
25. If you object to any or all of your surname or county being made available, please contact NRL via info.gb@velo.com. In such circumstances though NRL must still provide the information and winning entries to the Advertising Standards Authority upon request.
26. These Terms shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and the English Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any dispute.
